Ready to turn heads? The vibrant Subaru BRZ tS Kiiro edition has officially landed in Australia, bringing a splash of sunshine to the streets! Priced from $53,590 before on-road costs, this limited-edition model is set to make a statement.
Following its debut in New Zealand, the BRZ tS Kiiro is now confirmed for the Australian market. Multiple dealerships have already showcased images of this eye-catching, bright-yellow model on social media, and Subaru Australia has followed suit with an official announcement.
This special edition mirrors the New Zealand BRZ tS Kiiro, offering both manual and automatic transmission options. The most striking feature? Its exclusive Sunrise Yellow paint, complemented by matte-black badging and the Japanese kanji script for 'yellow' adorning the bootlid.
But that's not all! The Kiiro edition boasts matte-black 18-inch alloy wheels, a luxurious interior with leather and Ultrasuede seat trim featuring yellow perforations, and yellow contrast stitching on the steering wheel and gearshift boot. Adding a touch of exclusivity, each car includes an individually-numbered interior Kiiro badge.
Here's a number to remember: Only 95 units of the BRZ tS Kiiro will be available in Australia, part of a global production run of just 350 cars.
Mechanically, the Kiiro edition is identical to the regular BRZ tS, equipped with STI-tuned suspension, a front strut brace, and Brembo brakes, ensuring a thrilling driving experience. It also shares the black mirrors and black sharkfin antenna with the standard BRZ tS.
The Kiiro edition retains the same powerful engine as other BRZ variants: a 2.4-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder boxer engine, delivering 174kW of power at 7000rpm and 250Nm of torque at 3700rpm.
While New Zealand customers receive a numbered keybox and engraved keyring, it's yet to be confirmed if Australian buyers will get the same exclusive treatment.
And this is the part most people miss... The Kiiro edition offers both manual and automatic transmission options in Australia, unlike the New Zealand version, which is manual-only. For context, the Kiiro is priced $800 above the standard tS grade.
