When you are traveling abroad and switch on your mobile phone, it should automatically attempt to register with the network with the strongest available signal, provided Network/Operator Selection is set to automatic.
If the Network Selection is not set to automatic then you will need to select a network manually. Below are instructions on manual selection for some of the most popular handsets.

What is an IMEI and how do I find it?
IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity and put more simply, it is the serial number of the phone or device. It is usually found under the battery and on the box that your phone or device came in.
You can also find it by entering *#06# on your phone and the IMEI will display on the screen.
How can I get GPRS settings on my mobile?
First restart your mobile phone. If there are no settings on your handset then send a blank text message to short code 292.
How can I cancel diverts on my phone?
You can cancel all diverts on your phone by entering ##002# and then pressing Send.
How do I find out my SIM card number?
There are two ways for knowing your SIM card number:
1- Call 321 and follow the instruction and then press number 4.
2- Dial *212*2*2# .
I’ve forgotten my PIN number!
If you have forgotten your PIN number and entered it incorrectly three times, your phone will become PIN blocked. To unlock, enter your eight (8) digit PUK number which can be found on your welcome letter. You will then be required to create and enter a brand new PIN number.
My mobile phone memory is full
If your phone memory is full, we recommend you delete some of the information on your phone memory. Some items that can fill up your phone memory are: messages, pictures, videos, ringtones, and music.
How can I find out why my phone won't work?
There could be several reasons why your phone is not working:
- You may have run out of credit
- You may be in an area with weak signal/network coverage , which will be shown on your phone display
- Your battery needs to be charged
- Check you have entered the full area code even for local numbers
- Your SIM card may need cleaning
