Korek Telecom would like to provide clarity to our valued subscribers following recent findings by The International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce.
We express our profound concern about this decision and wish to reassure our esteemed subscribers – and the public at large – that Korek Telecom will continue to operate without any disruption, providing comprehensive coverage for the whole of Iraq.
Korek firmly denies the allegations and we are considering all options, including whether to seek to set aside the award. However, we would like to reassure our customers that this issue is solely a matter between our former and current shareholders.
The ICC’s decision does not affect Korek’s work and services and we would like to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to uphold all applicable laws, regulations, and the rights of all stakeholders.
